A mezzanine level grows your business
Do you have a serious shortage of space, so that you can no longer dispose of your stock? A level from John Scott Works offers an effective solution to this problem. With an intermediate floor in your warehouse you have the opportunity to double the number of square meters of your storage space or warehouse. Even showrooms can benefit from a mezzanine floor.
With the help of a mezzanine level you can use the space in your storage more efficiently. The available storage space is automatically doubled, or even tripled if you decide to build multiple levels of mezzanine. It is the perfect solution if you have too little floor area or when your business is growing so fast that you need twice as much storage space.
To meet storage needs, we work with a system floor to create extra height. For large warehouses or storages, one level often isn't enough. In order to stock all your products and maintain a clear storage space, multiple mezzanine levels might be the solution for you. At John Scott Works we can build a multi-layered mezzanine floor, up to three levels. Whether you can place one or more mezzanine levels depends on the height of the building. John Scott Works’ expert calculators are happy to perform a free structural calculation at your location, to make an accurate calculation of what kind of mezzanine level you need and can have the available space for. You can choose from different mezzanine floors with different sizes, colors and materials. With the help of our calculator you can compose your mezzanine completely according to your wishes.
Move or expand?
A bit back we talked about the cost differences between moving to a new location or purchasing a new floor. A mezzanine costs on average between £35 and £60 per square meter. Of course the final price depends on a number of factors such as size, load capacity and accessories. But in general, a mezzanine is cheaper than relocating and comes with a few additional benefits:
✔️ Free structural calculation & free site survey in England
✔️ Guaranteed CE-marked mezzanine floor for sale
✔️ Installation and site management by our own John Scott Works employees
✔️ Quality powder finish in a RAL-colour of choice
✔️ Column grids to 18 meter, loads up to 4,000 kg/m2
Renting a new and bigger storage mostly costs between £40 and £100 per square meter, without VAT and then we haven’t even included the costs for energy, gas and water yet. In addition, relocation and acquisition costs must also be taken into account, because not every employee who works in the company might be willing to move with you. Bottom line: relocating is often much more expensive than a storage mezzanine floor.
