What a day it was at The Welcombe Golf Course for our much-anticipated JSW Golf Day 2025!
Huge thanks to everyone who joined us in support of Mission Aviation Fellowship UK.
The sun shone brilliantly as we teed off, the swings were surprisingly solid (at times), the laughter and banter flowed effortlessly all day long.
It’s amazing how golf can bring people together, create lasting memories, and spark friendly competition!
It’s left us already dreaming of what’s next. So, keep those clubs warm and ready; we can’t wait to see you all back in 2026 for another unforgettable day of golfing fun!

Christmas Jumper Day!

On Thursday, 12th December, we came together to celebrate Christmas Jumper Day and raise money for MAFS.
In total, we raised £50.00, which could potentially fuel a 15-minute medical evacuation flight & save a life.
We’re incredibly grateful for everyone’s generosity and support. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas filled with joy and warmth!

Our new sawing machine!

As a manufacturer of mezzanine floors, equipment is vital. Our philosophy of carrying out all elements of the manufacturing process in-house makes sawing one of the most worked machines in the process. Purchasing good quality machinery helps with efficiency and reliability and this is exactly what this new saw is.

Semi-Automatic, with a cutting speed of up to 120m/min, powerful 4kw motor, 60-degree cutting range, large bundle capacity of 460x70mm, extended roller beds of 12m infeed and 8m outfeed. This saw will increase our capacity, while improving safety and reducing environmental impact. The teams are looking forward to getting to work.

On Thursday 10 October the JSW Golf Day took place at the Welcombe Golf Course in Stratford-upon-Avon.
We would like to thank everyone who joined us in aid of MAF UK.
It was a day filled with great company, (some good) golfing and great food. We are already looking forward to the next one!

In August we celebrated our yearly Family Fun Day at John Scott Works with colleagues and their family. It was an enjoyable day with good company, food and drinks.

Expansion of our head office in the Netherlands!

As part of the PRN Group, our head office is located in Tholen, the Netherlands. Last Saturday, there was the official opening of the expanded building. We added 6,000m2 to the factory. This ensures that the production process is organised more efficiently, and the capacity can be further expanded. There are also new offices added to the building. We are ready to design, manufacture, and install your new mezzanine!

New product launch: PRO-SPAN

We are proud to announce our new decking finish!

This floor plate (2400mmx1000mm) combines the advantages of both MDF and chipboard, and is price wise interesting. The PRO-SPAN floor plate contains a few unique advantages.
It is a high-quality P6 decking finish with a luxurious appearance, and an anti-slip value of R10. The decking finish also has a high point load capacity and is fire retardant (Bfl-s1, D-s2 d0).
As the only supplier in Europe, we are proud to offer this.

Renewed SafeContractor Certificate!

We are pleased to announce that we have renewed our SafeContractor certification. At John Scott works, safety goes first. Hence, we have developed side-mounted handrail and apply netting to each installation.

The new UK Head Office of John Scott Works

John Scott Works moved to a new UK Head Office in March 2020. Our new location is in Wolverhampton, in the Black Country. At this location, we produce our mezzanines completely in-house using state-of-the-art technology such as robot welding and cold roll forming.
