Due to the expansion of our manufacturing facilities, we are looking for a production operative skilled in welding fabrication and keen to learn operating our welding robots. As fabricator / welding robot operator you are tasked with manufacturing columns, staircase stringers, pallet gates – components that comprise our mezzanine floors. By reading production drawings you fabricate the products. You set the robot welder automatically using a straightforward dashboard. The opportunity is there to learn programming the robots through coursework.
- GNVQ or equivalent in Metal Working
- Coded in welding (preference)
- Keen to learn robot welding and develop further
- Technical mindedness
- Able to work independently
- Experience in structural welding (MIG/TIG)
Rate of pay:
- £12.50 per working hour 7:00 – 15:30
- Overtime paid at company overtime rate
